Welcome to the Louisiana Chapter of JDRF.  Our mission is to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes through the support of research.  Thank you for visiting our Gala website.  Our event, which will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2012 on the grounds of the home of Dan & Carolyn Heard in Baton Rouge, promises to be the most exciting one yet.

This year we recognize the wonderful fundraising success of our Gala program, which has raised over $2.4 million to date.  Because of this success, we have funded world-class diabetes research that brings us closer to the cure.

Hollingsworth Richards Mazda has generously donated a 2013 Mazda CX-5!  Tickets are $10/each. The winning ticket will be drawn at the 11th annual Denim & Diamonds Gala on Saturday, April 28.  The winner does not need to be present to win.
